The Business was London's first global business magazine published in the United Kingdom. It was edited by Allister Heath; published by Andrew Neil; and owned by the Barclay brothers, who also own The Daily Telegraph. It closed in February 2008 after it failed to prove a commercial success.

Although the magazine was generally thought to be of a high quality, it never reached a circulation of 50,000, the number needed for it to break even.

The Business was founded as the Sunday Business newspaper in 1996 by Tom Rubython and provided a Sunday alternative to the Financial Times. However, the newspaper experienced financial difficulties under Rubython. The Barclay brothers acquired the title and repackaged it under the guidance of Andrew Neil and converted to a magazine in the autumn of 2006.
On 13 February 2008 it was announced that The Business Magazine would be closing, to be replaced by The Spectator Business.
