Shower gel

Shower gel is the general term for a substance similar to liquid soap, which is used for cleaning the body while showering. Most commercial shower gels do not contain any saponified oil however, instead being products of petroleum. Well known brands include Palmolive, Axe, Radox and Adidas.

Shower gel is available in various colors, as well as different scents. Practically all shower gels on the market today are pH-balanced. Some shower gels are herb-infused, and offer aromatherapeutic benefits.
