Secretariat

In many countries, a Secretariat is an office complex where officials and administrators, including bureaucrats, conduct a government's business. These offices are officially known as a Government Secretariat.
In some cases, the Secretariat is not a bureaucratic organ, but one which includes a certain organisation run by all its members who collectively help to organise the larger group, such as the Secretariat of The International of Anarchist Federations, the contemporary Anarchist International, the Secretariat is an office that rotates irregularly between all member Federations. The current Secretariat is the Anarchist Federation (Britain and Ireland).
