- In this Vietnamese name, the family name is Phan. According to Vietnamese custom, this person should properly be referred to by the given name Suu.
Phan Khắc Sửu (1893 – 1970) was President of South Vietnam from 1964–1965.

He was an octogenarian, a trained agricultural engineer and was a member of the Cao Dai sect.
He was a member of Emperor Bao Dai's political cabinet.
Under President Ngo Dinh Diem's reign, he was briefly jailed for mild dissidence but then released.
