NAWABSHAH (Urdu: ) city (established in November 1912) DURING BRITISH GOVERNMENT NAWABSHAH is located in the centre of Sindh population is 12,79,825 (app.2008). By road it is at 4 hours drive from Karachi to National Highway Sakrand along the left bank of River Indus near Sakrand Taluka, Pakistan. It is frequently called and known as the Heart of Sindh.


Boundaries on the North Naushehro Feroze & Khairpur District on the South Matiary district & on the East by Sanghar & Khairpur District & on the West by River Indus & Dadu District.


Shaheed Benazirabad is famous for sugarcane and banana production. Its climate is hot and dry.But some time fall in -04 Celsius.


H.M. Koja, Movli Mohammed Maaz and Qazi Faiz Mohammed were the towering personalities of this district. While in political activity Qazi Mohammed Bux Dhamrah, Mohammed Lakho, Qazi Abdul Khaliq, Shahmir Bhangwar reamined much known. Present most famous politician personalities are Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Ghullam Qadir chandio, Syed Bag Ali Shah, Syed Ghullam Mustafa shah, Ghullam Rasool Unar, Sardar Jam Tamachi Unar, Khan Mohammad Dahri, Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, Ali Nawaz Chandio. This district has remained active in nationalist and progressive politics. A Hari conference in 1969 was held in Sakrand. Columnist Noor Abbasi, Ustad Allah Bux Bhmabhro, also belonged to Nawabshah


H.M KHOJA Annual Flower Show was introduced by H.M Khoja in the year 1954 at Khoja Garden. The event is celebrated for 3 to 4 days.


NAWABSHAH has an airport near the city, which has an international runway for substitute flights in an emergency. NAWABSHAH is connected to the Main Railway Line. It is a main railway junction of Pakistan Railways. A big (PAF) Pakistan Air Force base is located here. NAWABSHAH has a stadiuam called Bilawal Stadiuam For National Matches.
