Lisa McPherson Trust
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Lisa McPherson Trust was an organization created by Bob Minton to raise public awareness about human rights abuses committed by the Church of Scientology. The group considered Scientology to be a cult. The headquarters of the LMT were in Clearwater, Florida near high-level Scientology buildings.[1] Originally funded by Minton, he withdrew funding in 2002, presumably after pressure from Scientology.[2] The name comes from Lisa McPherson who died peculiarly under the supervision of the Church of Scientology.
