Leland Ryken

Leland Ryken is Clyde S. Kilby Professor of English at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.[1] He served as the literary stylist for the English Standard Version of the Bible, published by Crossway Bibles in 2001. He is the author of How to Read the Bible as Literature, Words of Delight, and is co-editor of Ryken's Bible Handbook and the ESV Literary Study Bible with his son, Presbyterian pastor and theologian Philip Ryken.[2] He recently served as the literary content contributor to the ESV Study Bible.[3]
