Jan van Beveren (born March 5, 1948 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland) is a retired football goalkeeper from the Netherlands, who played for the Dutch National Team during the late 1960s and 1970s, although he did not play in either the 1974 or 1978 FIFA World Cup. Van Beveren obtained 32 caps. He played club football for FC Emmen, Sparta Rotterdam, PSV Eindhoven, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers (NASL), and the Dallas Sidekicks (MISL).

Some journalists say that Johan Cruijff, the superstar for Holland in the 70s, did not like van Beveren, who was Holland's top keeper at the time, causing the management to select Jan Jongbloed instead.[1]

Jan is currently the Director of Training for Spindletop Select in Beaumont, Texas. Previously he was with the Dallas Texans as the Goalkeeping Coach.
