Gambling bots (for example MarketFeeder Pro[1] or X-Feeder [2]) are software normally using a particular or many betting sites api Application programming interface to speed up the proccess of placing bets and monitoring sporting events based upon a gambling system Betting strategy for the application to decide which team, horse, dog, etc to place a bet on which falls between the odds set by the system (for examples of betting systems you can search google or have a quick look at [3] which seems to give and sell lots of these betting strategys) Players setup the applications to work from these systems and place bets whilst they are away from their pc. These applications seem to be disliked by many proffesional gamblers and endorsed by the sites which offer betting services, they are disliked as they take the fun out of gambling and also a human player obviously cannot compete with such an application as its directly linked to the site and processes odds a lot quicker than any human player on the market at the same time. In addition as programs are emotionless these brutal computer players never get nervous or suffer from misgivings about their bets and thus achieve results efficently and in short periods of time, but on the otherside it also means that these applications could very well lose very quickly to if setup incorrectly or minor mistakes are made in coding.
