David A. Aaker

David A. Aaker (born 1938) is a consultant and author on the field of marketing, particularly in the area of brand management. He is currently a Partner and Vice Chairman of Prophet, a marketing consultancy firm, and has authored over 100 articles and 14 books on marketing and branding. He is also Professor Emeritus at the Haas School of Business of the University of California, Berkeley, where he formerly held a professorship position as the E.T. Grether Professor of Marketing and Public Policy.[1]
